Feng Shui and Relationships
According to Buddha “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world”.
A definition of Feng Shui could be the study of how to arrange your immediate environment to enhance the quality of your life. Literally translated Feng Shui means Wind and Water, and, like wind and water, you and your environment are two forces of nature, constantly interacting and influencing each other.
Life is full of “fair weather” conditions such as good relationships and opportunities for advancement whilst, on the other hand, where there are negative influences such as health problems or a stormy relationship, unhappiness can prevail. Happily, there are simple Feng Shui cures that can be applied to your home which can positively affect the relationships in your life. The “love” zones of your home are located in your bedroom and the back right-hand of your house. To get the best results, concentrate on these areas when applying the following ideas.
· Remove anything from an old relationship such as an old photograph, love letters or a gift.
· If you are actively looking for a partner, you can get results simply by removing any artwork or photograph that depicts a single woman within the frame.
· A room can be too feminine so remove excess frills and lace and clear away that abundance of perfume bottles. Similarly, a room full of stuffed animals or dolls does not attract mature relationships.
· Remove any items that make you stray from your relationship goals, such as work-related items, exercise equipment or a television.
· Sharp angles keep people at bay so remove pointy things such as cacti.
· Replace a single candlestick with a matching pair, or hang two complementary pictures where you previously had only one.
· Be prepared to welcome the arrival of a partner in your life with such items as a chilled bottle of wine and a pair of crystal glasses or scented candles to create an intimate atmosphere.
· In Feng Shui pink is apparently the colour of love so drape a pink throw over your bed or chair since almost anything of this colour can help your relationship prospects.
